The first three articles I wrote for Medium achieved zero views and zero reads.
Luckily writing for Medium is not playing baseball. Otherwise, three strikes and I’m out. If I quit after these initial results, I would have been depressed, sad, and alone.
Persevere, Don’t Quit!
I persevered. I decided to keep writing. In my first month, I made a penny. My second month, a dollar.
My third month was the breakout victory I had been waiting for. I earned all of $6.43!
What worked for me?
1. I joined several Facebook Groups.
Facebook groups allowed me to see what articles were being read. I learned that I needed a writing software tool to improve my writing. That led me to my second strategy.
2. I purchased a quality editing tool.
