Slow down your reader and entertain them at the same time.
You already know that 90% of readers that see your article will pass it by at first glance. From the 10% that do click on it, 25 to 30 percent of those will not stay long enough to register as a read. That’s what you call a tough crowd!
So, how do you grab a reader’s attention?
Visuals are attention grabbers. There is no doubt that when we see something in a short video format, it can be mesmerizing. (How many cat videos have you seen in your lifetime?)
We never get tired of videos. So how do we add them to our articles for maximum impact?
Simply hit enter to start a new line in your article and click the + sign as if you are adding an image. Then you will see the <> symbol. When you hover over it, it reads: Add an Embed. Click that symbol, and you will see:
