My Fourth Months Results on Medium

Reaching a plateau of reads and earnings.

To recap, in my first month, I wrote 12 articles, had 11 views, three reads, gained one fan, and earned a penny.

In my second month, I published 14 new articles, had 1,430 views, 350 reads, gained 14 fans and earned $0.36

In my third month, I published 16 new articles, had 281 views, 165 reads, gained 98 fans, and earned $6.43

In my fourth month, I published 23 new articles. I had 1,274 views, 655 reads and gained 249 fans. My fourth month’s earnings were $12.79

I created a basic spreadsheet in Excel to track my progress visually:

Breaching the $10.00 plateau comes with mixed feelings. On the one hand, since it costs me $5.00 per month to be a member of the Medium Partner Program, it feels like I am doubling my investment. On the other hand, I put out my best effort for the month, and it is hard to imagine if I can continue that pace of effort going forward.
