Recharge

Are you suffering from flat-bum? Too much ass-in-the-chair time? Yes, you can overdo it on Medium.

You know if you sit down for too long without moving around on an airplane, you can get a thrombosis. The same is true for a writer at a desk.

You must take that 15-minute ‘smoke-break’. You know, like in the old days when people used to work in cubicles. Mark it on the clock. If you get up at 7 AM and hit the keyboard with coffee by 7:15, you have to step outside by 9 or 9:30.

Do you recharge yourself as often as you recharge your phone?

Then again in the afternoon around 2 or 3 PM. Just get out and breathe the fresh outdoor air. Let the blood flow back up and down the underside of your thighs. Otherwise, you will hurt yourself; nobody wants to hurt themselves. Do you?

Stand up in the fresh outdoor air and breathe. Force yourself a full fifteen-minute break twice a day. Your health depends on it.
