Michael Behe looks at creation and declares, ‘intelligent design’. Richard Dawkins looks at creation and declares, ‘non-intelligent design’.

The arguments that Dawkins makes against intelligent design can also be made against his own theory of non-intelligent design.

Neither Behe nor Dawkins can declare a thing to ‘BE’ just because they say so; and that is what they are both doing.

In his book, ‘The God Delusion’, Dawkins presents the argument from personal experience as an external physical experience. The proof for God is found in the ‘argument from personal internal experience’ and since this argument is not addressed, his book is essentially a non-starter.

The arguments presented are either made of straw or are slippery red herrings that are in no need of catching.

I might tell you that God loves you. That is a foolish statement. That is a statement of personal internal experience and is meaningless to many. But the sharing of personal internal experience (the foolishness of preaching) may also bring encouragement, hope and life to someone.

And just to be clear, preaching is not what a preacher says from a pulpit. Preaching is what you do when you chat with your neighbor.

God bless you!
